    My grandmother

My grandmother was born in Madrid in 1929. Her name is Carmen. She worked as a nurse in a hospital.

At the age of seventeen, she met my grandfather Roberto and then they got married.

She worked very hard and she liked to care for her patients very much.

One day, Carmen  finished her work at 8:00 p.m and came back home. When she arrived, she found a small sick dog near the door. The dog looked weak and very tired.

Carmen was very sad to see that, so she immediately took care of it. Two days later, the dog felt much better and my grandmother was very happy to see him in good health .
